The Golden Jubilee Celebration marking 50 years of God’s abundant faithfulness in the life and ministry of Pastor Jacob John and his family, along with IPC Bethel Church, Pathankot, was held from March 25th to 29th with great joy, reverence, and spiritual fervour. This historic occasion stood as a powerful testimony to God’s sustaining grace, provision, and guidance over five decades of dedicated ministry.
The five-day convention was organized with the theme of thanksgiving and renewal, drawing a large number of believers, pastors, and leaders from various regions. Each day was filled with anointed worship, Spirit-led messages, and fervent prayer sessions that deeply impacted the lives of those in attendance.
The ministry of Pastor Jacob John and other servants of God and their families, who ministered at IPC Bethel Church over the past five decades, was of a great blessing. Through their faithful service and unwavering commitment to the Lord’s calling, countless lives have been touched and transformed. During the convention, the Word of God was preached with clarity and power, leading many to spiritual renewal and deeper commitment.
During the convention, 10 people witnessed the Lord in Water. This step of obedience reflected the ongoing fruit of the ministry and the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. In addition, many responded to the altar call, dedicating their lives for God’s service and experiencing the fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit.
A large gathering of pastors and believers attended the meetings, demonstrating unity and fellowship within the Body of Christ. The presence of God was evident throughout the convention, bringing healing, encouragement, and spiritual strengthening to many.
Even with the shadow of international conflict and a severe gas shortage, we saw God move. While many advised us to postpone due to these immense hurdles, church leadership stepped forward in faith. What appeared impossible was overcome through prayer and the sacrificial unity of our partners. Every need was met, and every person was fed—a powerful testament to God’s miraculous faithfulness.
In addition to the convention, the graduation ceremony of Carmel Bible College was held, adding further significance to the celebration. A total of 43 students successfully completed their studies in various theological courses, marking a new generation of trained workers ready to serve in God’s vineyard. The institution also announced that the new academic session will commence on June 20, continuing its mission of equipping leaders for ministry.
The Golden Jubilee Celebration was not only a time of remembrance but also a moment of renewed vision and commitment. It reflected God’s unwavering faithfulness in the past, His active presence in the present, and His promising guidance for the future.
As the church moves forward, there is a deep sense of gratitude and dependence on God. The leadership humbly requests continued prayers and support from the wider Christian community for the ongoing ministries, outreach efforts, and training programs.
Indeed, the Golden Jubilee Celebration was an unforgettable spiritual milestone that glorified God and strengthened His people.
