Kabul – Afghanistan…
For many years, I have carried a deep interest in Afghanistan and its possible connection with the history of Israel. I had heard of it in when i was doing some research as the Lord was speaking about some of the nations and putting a vision in me.
I had heard of Pashtun traditions identifying themselves as Bani Israel, and I wanted to explore these connections for myself.
Some Afghan tribes have preserved traditions linking their ancestry with the Ten Tribes of Israel, although these claims remain a matter of historical debate.

My first journeys in 2016 took me to places where I saw Hebrew inscriptions carved into rocks and ancient Jewish cemeteries bearing the Star of David.
Afghanistan has a documented Jewish history, including ancient and medieval Jewish communities and Hebrew-script tombstones.
But one discovery affected me in a very different way.
Standing before this enormous, heavy stone tablet in Kabul, I felt overwhelmed with emotion—my heart leaped and tears came to my eyes.
The inscription was understood to be an ancient Aramaic text connected with the Book of Daniel, particularly Daniel chapters 1 and 2.
For me, seeing those ancient characters carved into stone brought the biblical story vividly into the reality of the land where Daniel himself lived and served.
Daniel ministered in the world of Babylon and the Persian empires, and his testimony continues to speak across generations.
Whether studying Scripture, history, or archaeology, moments like this remind us that the biblical world was inhabited by real people, cultures and kingdoms.
This discovery deepened my desire to understand Afghanistan’s forgotten history and its connections with the ancient world.
Since then, I have returned many times, building relationships with local people, serving where I can, and sharing the Word of God.
My heart remains especially burdened for the people of Afghanistan and for our brothers and sisters in Christ who live there.
What began as a historical interest became a spiritual journey—a journey that continues to remind me that God’s Word and His purposes reach far beyond borders and generations.
Please do pray for the nation of Afghanistan it’s beautiful nation that’s in my heart.
I am heading back soon to be with our brothers and sisters in the Lord. Blessings
