Houston Texas: A viral video show a woman sitting in the isle knocked out which occurred at Champion Forest Baptist Church, a megachurch in the Houston area of Texas, during their annual “Christmas Spectacular” production last week. Most American churches hold special Christmas and Nativity shows or services during this time of the year, to commemorate the birth of virgin birth of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World. During the show, which features live animals as part of a nativity scene retelling, performers led camels through the audience aisles toward the stage. One camel suddenly kicked backward with its hind leg, striking a woman seated in an aisle seat directly in the face/head area.
Video footage shows her appearing to slump or be knocked unconscious immediately, with nearby attendees rushing to help her. She was hospitalized but treated and released shortly after, with no reports of life-threatening injuries (though commentators noted it “could’ve been deadly” given camels’ kicking strength). The church responded quickly with on-site aid and emergency services, issued a statement regretting the “unexpected incident,” and confirmed they stopped walking animals through audience seating for the remaining shows.

The video went viral on social media (originally posted by Grizzy’s Hood News on Facebook) and was covered by outlets like the Houston Chronicle, NBC News, The Independent, and New York Post. This is distinct from other Texas megachurches like Prestonwood Baptist, which also use camels in elaborate Christmas shows but had no reported incidents this year.
