Nashville, TN: For six years, she told stories that mattered — from storms and trials to everyday moments in her community. She had built a solid career after graduating from Clemson University, and she enjoyed shining a light on people’s lives in Nashville.
But over the last year, something changed. Every morning, Sophia started reading the Bible. What began as a simple habit grew into a deep love. The words spoke to her heart in a powerful way. She felt drawn to understand God’s love and share it with others. Slowly, her greatest passion shifted from the newsroom to studying Scripture and ministering to people.
So, with courage and peace, Sophia made a big decision. She left her journalism career at WKRN in Nashville to focus fully on Bible study and faith. In her announcement, she thanked her team and viewers with a grateful heart. “I’ve fallen in love with the Bible,” she shared. “All I want now is to study God’s Word, share Jesus, and serve others.” She added, “I trust Jesus to open and close doors. He is faithful!”
It wasn’t an easy choice, but it felt right. In a busy world, Sophia chose a quieter, deeper path — one filled with purpose and hope.
